Examinations
The PACE® and PCCE™ exams may be taken in-person at any Prometric testing facility. The Vermont Prometric Test Center is located at 600 Blair Park Road, Suite 326, in Williston, Vermont.
You may now test remotely using ProProctor instead.
Information regarding the testing procedures, remote system requirements, etc. are located on the NFPA® website [PACE and PCCE Information | National Federation of Paralegal Associations (paralegals.org)].
Once the exam application has been approved, the exam must be taken within ninety (90) days.
PACE®:
The exam consists of 200 multiple choice questions, which must be completed within a 4-hour period of time.
Candidates who successfully pass the PACE® and maintain the continuing education requirements may use the designation “PACE Registered Paralegal®” or “RP®.”
PCCE™:
The PCCE™ exam consists of 125 multiple choice questions (15 of which do not count toward your score), which must be completed within a 2.5-hour period of time.
Candidates who successfully pass the PCCE™ and maintain the continuing education requirements may use the designation “Core Registered ParalegalTM” or “CRP™.”
