The Vermont Paralegal Organization is excited to be joining the Office of the Attorney General's Annual Vermont Legal Community Food Drive again this year from September 4, 2026 through September 18, 2026.
The Vermont Foodbank provides critical resources to our neighbors facing hunger by distributing food across all of Vermont’s 14 counties through their many programs and services, including distributing food to partner food shelves and meal sites, sharing fresh produce directly with Vermonters, assisting neighbors in accessing 3SquaresVT benefits, and reducing barriers to accessing food. With the threats to federally funded food and nutrition programs, Vermont households are feeling the stress of putting food on the table even more acutely this year.
This year’s food drive will be structured similarly to years past, with an optional friendly competition in the interest of keeping food on Vermonters’ tables. There are three ways to participate:
1 - Donate online to our fundraising page https://fundraise.vtfoodbank.org/vtparalegal
2 - Drop off donations of non-perishable food/diapers to our donation box located at:
Primmer Piper Eggleston & Cramer, PC Lobby
30 Main Street, 5th Floor
Burlington, VT 05401
3 - Drop off donations of non-perishable food/diapers to your local foodbank and email me at president@vtparalegal.org with the quantity of items you donated so we can add it to our donation total. You can search for your local donation location https://www.vtfoodbank.org/access-food/find-a-food-shelf/ or https://vtparentchildcenternetwork.org/centers/ for diaper donations if not accepted by your local food bank.
4 - Engage others in the drive and share your office efforts online using the hashtag #VTLagalFoodDrive.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
