VICE PRESIDENTVPO Membership Chair | Working on Behalf of Paralegals throughout the State of Vermont |
I am currently a paralegal at Dunkiel Saunders Elliott Raubvogel & Hand, PLLC where I assist with intellectual property and civil litigation matters. I am also currently studying for the PACE® exam. I graduated from Bay Path University (formerly Bay Path College) in 2010 with a B.S. in Legal Studies and an Advanced Paralegal Certificate, magna cum laude. I began my legal career in 2011 as a Temporary Administrative Clerk in a Connecticut Superior Court. I worked there for six years, gaining the position of Administrative Clerk, handling many aspects of day to day operations from file intake to sentencing. I then relocated to Vermont in 2017 to join my boyfriend and his family. In college, I was on the honor roll for many semesters and admitted as a member of Lambda Epsilon Chi, the National Honor Society in Paralegal/Legal Assistant Studies, and the Maroon Key Honor Society, the college’s Honor Society. I was the president of our Law Club for two years and worked to encourage students on their career path and also helped organize speakers and programs. I was a member of the Litchfield County Legal Professionals Association in Connecticut before joining the VPO and the Vermont Bar Association in 2017. I also like to stay up to date with regular CLE’s throughout the year. As the Membership Committee Chair I hope to grow and maintain our membership. As the Bylaws Chair, I am responsible for assisting the Board in revising our bylaws as we head down the incorporation tunnel. |
