VPO Newsletter Editor | Working on Behalf of Paralegals throughout the State of Vermont |
I obtained my Bachelor's of Arts degree from the University of Vermont in 1994, majoring in Sociology. In 1999, I obtained my Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies from Champlain College. I worked as a litigation paralegal at Dinse P.C. for over 22 years, and now work as a litigation paralegal at Downs Rachlin Martin, PLLC. I have been a VPO member since 1998, was Membership Committee Chair from 2001 through 2007, and President from 2005 to 2007. For many years, I have been the editor of Paralegal Focus, and the Co-Chair of the Continuing Legal Education Committee. I remain aware of changing rules and issues that affect the paralegal profession, and the day-to-day work of a litigation paralegal. I have also counseled student/associate members in searches for employment or internships, and have been contacted by Champlain College to answer prospective or current student questions about the profession or to assist with classroom assignments. |
