Our Notary Certification expires January 31, 2027, which will be here before we know it! Below is a notice from the Vermont Bar Association on available certification trainings. The cost is $45 for VBA members. If you have any questions regarding this post or trainings, please reach out to info@vtbar.org. 

Notary Public Certification Training programs for the 2027 renewal period opened for registration on September 1, 2026 through the VBA.  These Zoom programs allow for 1000 attendees each. You will receive an email confirmation when you register, as well as a separate email with your Zoom link. The VBA is offering three (3) different dates for the Basic Notary Training Certification Programs – click on your desired date below to register.

Nuggets of Notary (K)nowledge with Jim (K)napp:

October 8th from 1pm – 2:15pm

October 21st from 1pm – 2:15pm

November 12th from 11:30am – 12:45pm

If you have, or want to obtain, a Special Endorsement, we are offering one (1) day for the Special Endorsement Training Program. Special Endorsement requires one additional hour of continuing education focusing on notarial acts on electronic records and for Remotely Located Individuals. 

Things to Know About Your Special Endorsement for Digital Notarial Acts:

October 30th from 1pm – 2:15pm

After the completion of the live Zoom programs above, a recording of the basic program and the Special Endorsement program will be available through the VBA's Digital Library.
